The new home of the Greater London Assembly.

Location: Kamal Chunchie Way, Canning Town, E16 1ZE

Description: City Hall, Newham, is the headquarters of the Greater London Authority (GLA), the regional government for Greater London. The GLA moved from the previous City Hall in Southwark in 2022.

The Crystal, its nickname, was already 10 years old, and formerly an exhibition centre for sustainable architecture. It was built by Siemens as the first building in the world to reach the highest sustainable award level.

It sits on Royal Victoria Dock and has the northern terminus of the London cable car outside it's front door. The Excel Exhibition centre is just across the dock.
